About the Author

Dario Nardi, Ph.D. is an author, researcher, speaker and expert in neuroscience, personality, games, and body-mind practices. 

He holds a Senior Lecturer position at University of California (Los Angeles), where he won UCLA's Copenhaver Award for Innovative Use of Technology in 2005 and UCLA's Distinguished Teacher of the Year in 2011. From 1998 until 2015, Dario taught in UCLA's Program in Computing, Anthropology, and Honors programs.

Dario created the Cognitive Processes Assessment, which you can take for free at www.keys2cognition.com . It is validated on 130,000 people. It reports a personal profile of 8 cognitive processes (aka mental functions) as described a century ago by the famous Dr. Carl Jung.

His books include Neuroscience of Personality, 8 Keys to Self-Leadership, Jung on Yoga, The Magic Diamond, and Facets of Ayahuasca, among other titles. He created "Personality Types" for the Apple iPhone. And is instructor or co-instructor for Udemy digital courses including a 3-course series, Awaken Your Inner Viking Shaman, Jung on Yoga with Personality Hacker, and soon debuting, a 4-course series, Psychological Types, and Learn Jung's Active Imagination Technique. 

Since 2006, Dario has focused on conducting hands-on brain research, utilizing insights of real-time EEG technology. Applications extend to coaching, counseling, education, games, healthcare, leadership development, yoga, and many other areas. 

In 1994, Dario was officially trained and certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator under Dr. Linda Berens, and has worked with Linda since, coauthoring three workbooks found at www.interstrenth.org. These are: 16 Personality Types: Descriptions for Self-Discovery, Understanding Yourself and Others: An Introduction to the Personality Type Code, and Quick Guide to the 16 Personality Types in Organizations: Understanding Personality Differences in the Workplace.
